Shopbottools.com is one of the sponsors of the Maker Faire. They are interested in working with educators to bring their tools into classrooms worldwide. They have pledged some support of the Educators Maker Faire project in several ways listed below:

Food

They will have a grill and RV in the parking lot. The burgers are tasty and hot.

Meeting space

There are spaces available on the Faire grounds that we could use for meetings and other uses.

Hosting an Educators' summit

Last year, we were involved in a Personal Fabrication Summit, where people from all parts of the creative world got together and shared ideas. We could do a similar thing with educators from around the country and world.

Access to a Shopbot tool for educators to use and learn on.

They are bringing a truck load of tools and equipment. We could use a machine for educational purposes.

Jamboree

Shopbot has an annual Jamboree, which this year will be held on the Thursday and Friday leading up to the weekend's events. We are invited to participate in that couple of days of programming.
